Transshipment Operation Process
First step: Book a cargo space for transportation from any port of China to the transit country (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, etc.).
1.We will contact a ship owner to book a cargo space, with our Malaysian agent as the consignee; 2. Trailer, customs declaration may be arranged by the factory or by our company for the factory.
Second step: Our agent in the transit country books a cargo space to the port of destination country.
1.After goods are transported to the transit country, our agent in the transit country will complete container exchange, customs clearance and declaration, trailer operation, etc. 2. After the goods are exported from the transit country, we will provide to you respected company a complete set of the transit country’s bill of lading, certificate of origin or FORM-A, health certificate, invoice, and packing list.
Third step: Arrange payment and obtain a complete set of documents including the transit country’s original bill of lading, certificate of origin or FORM-A, health certificate, invoice, and packing list.
At present, more and more countries in the world impose restriction and anti-dumping on Chinese products, especially, the restriction of such countries like Turkey, Mexico, EU, etc. on Chinese textiles is the most restrict. Transshipment transportation is the only way for importers to get rid off high-amount tariff and import restriction.
At present, transshipment transportation is suitable for the following products: All kinds of garments (clothing), fasteners, shoes, socks, hats, cloth, plastic bags, tiles, ceramic products, television, Luminaires (not including bulbs), bicycles, toys, individual canned foods and automotive accessories, etc.;
Transshipment ports: Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Singapore, Bangladesh, Taiwan
We could handle formalities for obtaining the documents such as: The certificate of origin of Indonesia (legalization by embassy is available by import country and product), the certificate of origin of Malaysia (legalization by embassy is available by import country and product), BV-CDV, factory certificate (production report + production capacity report), KII, etc.; the C/O or FMA, etc. of India, Thailand, Singapore, Bengal and Taiwan, etc.
Product requirements: Products shall not be marked with “Made in China”, and shall not be “counterfeited goods”. The requirements on packing are different for different regions. Purely neutral packing is available in most countries of Europe, but not available for export to Turkey, North America, South America, etc., and it’s necessary to indicate “Made in Indonesia”. Domestic customs clearance will be solved by the freight forwarder company in cooperate with the customs declaration agent.
